You know, for a long time, I felt trapped. It wasn’t a physical prison, but a mental one. I’d look in the mirror and not recognize the person staring back. My clothes didn’t fit anymore, the energy for simple daily tasks had vanished, and even a walk in the park with my kids became a sacrifice. I tried everything: crazy diets that left me hungry and irritable, exercises I’d start and quickly give up on because I saw no results. It was frustrating, and I was truly on the verge of giving up.
